Apurva is passionate about working with people to help improve their performance, behavior and outcomes at individual, team and organizational levels so that they can achieve their true potential and find fulfillment in their lives. For 26 years, working with pioneers such as NIIT and American Express, based out of India and Singapore, he was part of start-up teams, setting up and expanding business operations from scratch. He also effortlessly switched to HR and OD roles, addressing the organization’s business transformation and change management needs, designing, implementing complex learning and consulting interventions across different cultures across Asia-Pacific, Australia, Japan and the US. Since 2012, Apurva has immersed himself fully into his own OD Consulting and Coaching Practice, working with clients like Bharati Airtel, Ericsson, IRRAD, IREDUS, Fidelity, Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ, GENPACT, Hero Motocorp Ltd, Aviva Life Insurance, Mother Dairy, ITC, American Express etc. A strong blend of practical, hands-on experience in business management and HR & OD skills is a great asset in his work today. Stakeholders and participants find his inputs relevant and impactful, as against being the proverbial "ivory tower" views. Led by his curiosity to learn, he is now pursuing Masters in Research (MRes) from Lancaster Univerity, UK. He plans to extend this journey into a PhD program with an aim to create new learning and solutions in the Organization Development domain. He also runs a dog park providing socialization and agility opportunities to pet dogs. Apurva loves music, long driving holidays and spending time with his family and pet dogs.
